Looked at one today, felt it was claustrophobic as it had a black headlining, was OK till I then sat in the Omega which was more comfy, what do we think of these cars?  thinking of an SRI auto diesel 160bhp?

I think the SRI is the better looking model of the range (some Insignia models are painfully bland) if you do not want to go for VXR. Not to be compared with Omega - totally different concept. I like the SRI Nav.

I'm not keen on the shape of the saloon/hatch shape, but the estate has really grown on me of late!

Reviews would certainly indicate a vast improvement over the Vectra it replaced, especially in its driving dynamics!

Not sure that it can be compared to an Omega though...  :-/

Estate insignia you can get away with it calling a car, but saloon is just plain ugly, and no way would either come close to a omega saloon or estate versions  :-/

Son-in-law has an Elite. Rides well and comfy but hideous rear view through rear window. Parking sensors essential ! Oh, and the handbrake is a switch!!!!   I would never get used to that!

i had a sri auto diesel over new year..nice car went like stink but very plastic though
