correct, front camber can be adjusted using the two mounting bolts at the bottom of the shock absorber.

As for the shocks...that's personal preference as far as i'm concerned. These springs are designed to work with standard shocks and as such the choice is mine. I may well experience a slightly harsh ride, but if my shocks are ok, then i see no reason to spend even more money.

The point of my post athough addressed to you, was intended to open the conversation for the op, which you kindly did so there after.

Although arguably its not wise to lower more than 30 mill(some would say 15 max) the actual ride hight is not really relevant in the scheme of things, as the car needs setting up correctly after fitting as you say. If not set correctly, the car will handle terribly and destroy tyres in a 1/4 of their intended life.

This, although addressed to your good self, is written for the benefit of the op. I hope you understand. ;)

and i apologise to you actually, because that was rather snappy of me.

I initially thought you were commenting on my other lowering springs thread that i posted at a similar time to this one. Bit of confusion, thinking you were denouncing my lack of shocks, preparation or something.

I was just reacting being told something I already knew...but like you say, this is not my topic. And the OP is the intended helpeeeeeeee here.

So,.....

sorry bout that. I know we all have the right intentions at heart.....it's just when you said "Someone explain, I'm beginning to think its just me!"......riled me up a bit lol

i found with my calibra, it helped to have the correct size tyres fitted for the car, otherwise the inside of the tyre just gets torn to shreds...

not that i mind to much as i can get tyres fairly cheap :)

yes that certainly does help lol.
Last thing you want i rubbing or scoring on the tyre.

the omega is bad enough at chewing through insides of front tyres purely because of the wishbone bushes failing over time.

Wouldn't want to complicate it lol

so is there no adjustment for the rear then? as mine are probably going to be off by a mile, im going to lower it -40mm.....

I dont think so.
There is toe adjustment on the rears, but I might be right in thinking there is no direct camber adjustment on the rears.....

Mine i going to be lowered 35mm. Not sure how bad that will affect rear camber tbh.
Like i said, it looks like its too negative now. but i have no uneven wear....so who knows.

stick another 10psi in the rear tyres so they dont wear on the shoulder  ;D

well i run my estate loaded with equipment in the boot, on the motorway most days, so they are already on 40psi.

Another 10 might be a tad too much lol.
