I hope they've moved on from those bloody useless dbw throttle bodies of the earlier cars. T5 etc... ?

We used to have the S40 T4 with auto box. Real wolf in sheeps clothing. looks very plain and quite small but had 200bhp under the bonnet, gave quite a few cars a good run for their money.

And yes, not what you expect from Volvo, but I welcomed it. Just make sure you allways use your indicators. I did just because I remembered so many Volvos never used to use them   ;D

I had an MV6 that was a very quick car. I now have a 2001 Volvo S40 T4 manual and it is very, very quick. I quite like it. Nearly as nice as the omega :y

I've always liked Volvo's. Excellent cars!

The V70 is the only car I'd consider replacing my Omega estate with!  :y

..you sure about that  ;) - best of both worlds - I have one of each - a Volvo and a 'mig..
I used to have a V70XC - and until I got the '90 it was the best car I'd ever owned.
But I love both of these to bits:

Agree the S40T was a bit of an animal too.

Don't feel guilty about getting a Volvo..... :P

Cheers
Ian.
