Mk4 Astra Indicator trouble
« on: 22 July 2011, 19:18:31 »

Hi guys, my mother in law is having trouble with the indicators/hazards on her 54 plate Mk4 Astra. It seems to be mostly on the offside signal that the light comes on and stays on for a few seconds and then goes off and stays off for a few seconds too. Obviously this is dangerous and misleading to other motorists/road users. The bulbs all appear to be in good shape so all i can think of is either a stalk problem or other electrical gremlins?????

Can anyone help??? :-? :-? :-? :-?

Such a missed oppurtunity.
Look forward to the Cadillac ATS & ATS-V. Maybe a re-badged one will replace the Miggy as a RWD runner?

hoofing it

The only things I can think of are the stalk, hazard switch itself, indicator relay/hazard relay :y

Probably the indicator relay, as stalk won't affect it when you use the hazards only.  Are the bulbs the correct wattage??
