Sold my Catera
« on: 09 August 2011, 18:08:51 »

So I sold my Catera about a little over a week ago and went on the market to find a new vehicle. I ended up scooping this bad boy.

 OMG the neons and humungous wing!  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

LOL nah. I like it the way it looks, if I change anything it'll be the headlights for some sonar hid with black interior but other than that no wing, no neons. Maybe a different set of wheels.

I'm not sure we actually got them? Could be wrong but I thought they were US & Japanese market only..

[edit] Just checked - actually it's only available in LHD, no RHD countries at all..

The RHD 'equivalent' is, I guess, the FTO - much better looking car, IMHO ;)

I have actualy driven one of them.

In the UK they are a US import and consequently they are not very popular. Biggest issue I found was the horrendous handling, way to soft and dead feeling for europeon drivers.

I cleaned up the chrome wheels

BTW The FTO seems like a supra. I like it but i'm not sure they made them for 3rd gen, after 99

It looks a little similar but it's a far cry from one really - it's wrong wheel drive for a start ;) came with a relatively asthmatic V6 engine and with an optional flappy-paddle gearbox if memory serves.. a fun car, but a long way from the big GT Supra :)

Shiny wheels btw - obviously well looked after if they cleaned up well.
