Do not let her use it until the crank sensor is fixed - if it fails when she's in the outside lane of the A5(D) etc, she'll never get in it again.

Yey, good news, finaly got the crank sensor sorted out! ;D  ABS lght has gone out, but the TC light comes on intermitantly.
Dunno if it has any bearing, but when the old crank sensor came out it was covered in oil. Relevent or not?

Still have the EML on all the time, but will paperclip it when the wife gets back, Oh and she aint got the hump anymore now it on its way to geting sorted.

Goto thinking, after reading a post about one of the guys having a hole in the brake servo pipe I checked mine for any holes and noticed that there was black tape round certail sections, so I recon someone has already repaired a few holes. Didnt start the car till the next morning, and it was then that the EML was on. So im thinking that I may have knocked somthing when pulling at the brake servo pipe maybe. So does anyone know if there owt in that area that could have been knocked to make the EML come on?

Anyways, SWMBO's back now so fault codes to follow! ;)
So get yourselvs ready for another week of daft questions! :y

Well the EML=135 and 89

And yes SWMBO has the hump about it all again :-/ I thought, just for a second, that all would be well with a brand the crank sensor fitted, but no, denied! Just some new fault codes.

Am now serriously considering getting shot before somthing else decides to go wrong or falls off. I bloody love Omega,s but now its just getting silly, just as I think I have sorted one issue out anouther pops up.  I totaly accept any motor has running costs and faults that need fixing along the way, but surely not day in day out, theres always fukin somthing >:(

Alas, you seem to have more problems than most. Any new care needs the TLC that the last owner neglected.

If you can afford the petrol, pop it over and we'll run Tech2 over it to see if that gives us some clues about the lamda.  I suspect you may have to replace it though :(
