Post those Winter Shots!
« on: 07 December 2007, 20:06:49 »

Here are some of my car...  :o

I know she is real dirty but she may get a bath tonight depending on how cold it gets...

In this shot you can see how far the tire sticks out with the H&R Spacers...

These are Kumho Ecsta ASX Ultra High Performance tires.. 245-45/17, and so far they have been good to me especially in fresh snow.  :P

Well certain states here have certain laws and in Michigan one of them is that no front plate is required so when you register they hand you just a rear plate... the front stays empty so I figured it would look cool with German one on there... and I actually got it from a friend who lives in Germany and he ordered it through the ordinances that deal with these things there.   So technically they are illegal in other states but not in MI... When I travel to my home state I have to switch it back to the old one... Did you notice that the numbers match except the M in front which I guess stands for Munich...

just looking at your signiture, you get 110 bhp from a 2.0?  :o  ::)

My old 2.0 Mondeo had around 136 bhp and it was factory standard.

I think he means Front Wheel Horse Power - ie power at the wheels.  I guess without the transmission losses you'd be talking 140ish or so.

On some cars it looks so much better having no licence plate on the front, my BMW 840 is one of them. Depends on how the car is designed, usually sports cars with a small frontal area get the number plate tacked on afterwards and it looks awkward.
