BruceT's Custom Exhaust
« on: 22 June 2008, 21:58:11 »

Well, overall I am very happy with my choice to go the Custom Route.

I went in wanting a stock sound (I.e Silent) but got something which was not stock sound.

As soon as I started it up for the first time, I grinned to myself and thought this is louder than stock... and I love it.

Sounds lovely, got a nice sound considering its a boring 4-pot 2 litre.

Went with twin tailpipes similar to Irmscher (Can never spell it) style as to not look too out of place as I had no idea what would look good.

As soon as I saw it, I grinnedto myself and was happy.

Very good work at Infinity Exhausts in Yate.

Here are some pictures, any comments welcome.

Nice, I like the fact there are no tell tale badges on the boot either.   :y :y

The whole exhaust looks custom. Very good job. Looks really nice. No to small, not too big. Just as it should be and looks different. Is it stainless steel? May I ask, how much did you pay for this system?
And the most important question – can you please record any video with the sound so that we could enjoy some of it? [ch61514]

Hi Nkaminski, The system is a Catalyst Back, Fully Stainless steel (Grade 304), guaranteed for the life of the vehicle (Including joints/Welds)

I paid £320.

I will get some video(s) tonight for you guys.

PS. Has anyone removed the Vauxhall emblem from the boot handle?

Here is a video, i forgot to do it when I got home when the engine was warm and the exhaust warmed up.

Here is a vid on a cold engine and cold pipework.

Kinda sounds pants tbh in the video, it does sound better when moving and warmed up.
