Its, Double sised tape, and plastic clips, they are sods to get off, as they bend.

New ones are about £13. Used ones are inevitably bent and also will have residue of old tape on. If fitting a new one, take the time to remove every last trace of the old strip and gum from the tape. New clips simply slide onto the new strip, then peel of backing tape, line up and press home. Run along the whole length of the strip each way to ensure a good seal.

WARNING. Alignment is essential. There is a degree of adjustment laterally, so if you just go for it youy may find the strip too far forwards. This will snag on the front door when opening and peel the strip away, then its back to square one. The seal at the front of the strip is the most critical. Make sure this is a good tight fit otherwise it will get caught again.
