My MV6.....One of the final few?
« on: 24 June 2011, 17:40:05 »

Registered 20th December 2003. I'm guessing that my 2.6 MV6 is one of the final few to trickle off the production line.

She comes complete with a nice set of Michelin Primacy 235/45/17 tyres, which seem to last forever. She has just 76,000 miles on the clock...I paid £1300 for her. I know this is top money for an Omega, but she is in virtually unmarked condition.

When I bought her the alloys were scuffed ( First owner was a woman) ::) ::) ::)....but I have refurbished these myself for less than £20....plus a lot of elbow grease.

She runs beautifully, but I would prefer a manual box rather than the slow-witted auto. :y :y :y

Opti, that's a beauty  :)

I'm not a big fan of Star Silver, just because it's so ubiquitous, but there's no denying your's is a cracker  :y

I agree. I'm not a fan either. It's fine if you happen to be a rep... ;).

What stunning condition! And the wheels look really good, are they a slightly brighter silver than standard or am I imagining it?

Very shiny!  :y

Have you got sufficient Anti-Freeze in the coolant?  Look's a little pale?

Looks very tidy! 1300 isn't really top dollar for a low mile late mv6 or elite so you've done very well! Whereabouts in south lincs are you? My mv6 is a late 53 plate registered in 2004. I guess our cars sat in a field for a little while after production!  :y
