F/S 1998 2.5 Tourer
« on: 15 May 2010, 09:52:42 »

Black estate, clean inside and out, runs great, MOT November 22nd Tax October. Needs brakes sorting, they start getting noisy after about 20 minutes of driving in town using them. A bolt came out and started jamming in the N/S drum and a small clip is missing off the handbrake actuating levers behind the drum, I don't know if this is a contributing facter to the noise etc though. the car is still ok to drive, brakes all work.
There is some bubbleing of the paint on the doors under the windows and a couple of other spots, but only on the doors, and a dent by the number plate on the tailgate, all in all it is a decent car, a bit of work..be great, it's done 94,000 miles. All black interior and has cloth seats. Looking for £500

Has the car got any history with it at all?
When was the Cambelt & Tensioners & Water Pump changed?
Are the Tyres any good?

Cheers :y

Not much history, canbelt was done at 79,000, about 15,000 miles ago,  but I dont know if the water pump and the tensioners were done as well, but no engine noises etc, tyres are good, 3 matching, not sure of tread depth, about 4mm+ I think no fault codes with paper clip test, no known engine or gearbox problems, the car runs fine.

I tried to have a close listen when I was out in the car yesterday, and I'm sure the squeaking etc is just from the O/S rear brake area.
It had a new air filter, oil and filter, new plugs about 2000 miles ago, new fuel filter not fitted yet, but is with the car.

It's still for sale.
