About to reformat PC
« on: 19 August 2007, 18:38:20 »

Fed up with this peice of crap that SWMBO calls a computer, it's so slow and riddled with spyware.

Just backing up data now... in about 20 mins I will be repartitioning the Disk and starting from scratch. All new service packs, latest AV, antispyware, firewall, etc.

If it gets full of crap again, I will hit the roof!

If people can't be trusted not to fill your PC with sh1te give them grunt user privileges. If they complain they can't install something shrug your shoulders and say "Dunno. Worked for me".

I'm 'trade' so no shortage of kit here 8-)

But I can understand the frustration of having PC problems.  :(

Good, thanks... a bit off-topic, but I find TNT to be one of the most reliable (though not cheapest!) couriers I have ever worked with. They are yet to loose, damage, or delay a package I sent with them, and I have been using them since 2001. I can tell you stories about City Link though....  >:(

Used to have hassles with Shitty-Link, but they seem better now.  Amtrak are my current 'useless idiots' courier, to the point I don't order from Microdirect any more, as Amtrak never, ever, ever deliver on time.  Like 8 out of 8 times.

Your package was well packaged.  Not sure if it was TNT who delivered, or subcontracted, as plain white van. Curtious and efficient though :)
