cartridge oil filter

my 2000 2.5 has the cartridge filter, however i have about 50 genuine VOF93 filters and would like to convert the engine to run a proper oil filter instead of the cartridge.

Is it possible? If so is it difficult

I believe it is possible, I seem to recall that there is a new threaded insert. Your dealer will know....
