Hi,Centre Dash panel advice pleae.
« on: 24 November 2006, 13:50:21 »

Hi
my 1999 Omega estate is fitted with basic aircon and has the black centre dash with the twist type heater controls.

1. Will the wooden surround panel from an Omega that has the upgraded climate control knobs( see link below ) fit.

I want to retain all of my existing controls and switches and  just want to replace the black panel with a wooden one that has had all of its original switches etc removed.

2. How is the centre panel removed?

Thanks Darryl

I looked into doing the same thing and Unfortunately it looks not possible to do as the climate surround sits further forward in comparison with the proper surround you can get for the twist knob design. (rare as rocking horse poop)

You want one off a very early CDx or Elite around 1994/5 as these had wood but no climate
