Car Inspections
« on: 20 December 2006, 14:43:20 »

In the early part of the next year I am hoping to replace the Vectra with an Omega, while I consider myself reasonably confident mechanically with standard servicing of cars (Services, Brakes etc etc), I appreciate that the Omega will have various weaknesses..... HBV, Wishbones etc etc, my question is to all you knowledgable folk on here is 'would anybody be prepared to do an inspection of a vehicle if I paid their travelling expenses + an agreed charge.'

I just feel that the people on here would have a more specific knowledge of Omega's than any AA or RAC inspection and hence would spot an Omega problem more easily.

Or

Could a buying guide be produced with the extra things that need to be checked (and how to check them)

All thoughts welcome.

Duh! Sorry, should have checked first!

Still interested to see if anyone would consider inspecting a prospective purchase though.
