Central locking failure

I've got a theory that says the front passenger door solenoid is the one that fails most frequently.

I agree, it generally does appear to be drivers one....  ...have heard of odd passenger one failing, but the ones I've heard of, its been total failure, not the intermittent nature of drivers...

Its drivers that fails most often.....coz it has two micro switches in it as part of the wiring setup (to support that fact i also has to be key operated) and its these that go........

Seen a fuel flap one fail to....

My old Omega had the fuel flap solenoid fail, and also the drivers door was a bit sticky at times...
