the grey sealant that sused to stick metal to metal - ie oil cooler :y

Knowing VX they'll probably want to sell me a 5 litre bottle of the stuff ;D. Last time I was in getting a few bits n bobs I asked for some of the plastic screws that hold the trim below the glovebox... "yes 23p each sir, but we only sell them in packs of 100".  There are only 5 or 6 in the whole car  :o
