well just rang the local stealer for the first time as i want the proper nut and bolt for the earth clamp on the battery...... firstly he came back with "its a torx nut"
i explained some more that its the nut and bolt for the battery earth
his next question was "what size engine????"
i explained again
"its just an ordinary nut and bolt" was his next reply
i explained i had an ordinary nut and bolt on there but hard to get a spanner in cause clamp is funny angle
he went away again and came back with no not listed
WASTE OF AIR!!!!
does anyone know if the part is available and a part number for it.... i only want one cause if its not the earth i need to remove the alternator  :'( and i dont wanna do that

Had a look on the EPC catalogue, VX show no seperate NUT & BOLT, it only shows the full earth cable c/w the bolt & nut...  What about getting one off a scrapper?

Gotta be less stress, and an outing TOO !

Agreed it's in need of a thinner diameter nut..

cheers dave will call in with me trusty 10mm spanner and grab one as that was what i had resigned myself to
