Springs (sorry yes again!)
« on: 31 January 2007, 14:02:17 »

Is there any difference in pre-facelift 2.0 & V6 springs?

James has some 2.0 springs I could have, question is could the 2.0 springs cope on the Senator? Or shall i wait for V6 ones?

I still have that link you sent me for eBay Mark, but i'd rather spend £20 on second hand springs. As money is tight at the moment, unless i badger my m8 for some...

call me mad, but i thought the Omega and Senator had different springs??

or am i simply confuddling myself as mine's an estate...???

seems this might actually be pertinent to Tunnie's Spring search....

Rears are the same....
I suspect the 2.0 ones are a bit softer.....so when you accelerate, the rear might well sit a bit lower...

cheers guys, not too worried if they are a bit softer. 90% of the time the Senator will be on a motorway. I don't plan to thrash it too much, until we get to Germany!  :D

just remember you will have at least 2 people? in the car and probably a bootful of gear!! so with 2 litre springs it may drag its arse without booting it!!!
