prefacelift climate bulb change,FAO the boy

lovely how to matey,but im buggered if i can find the release bar,to release the main panel???? cant find anything that even remotely looked like it,got the 3 screws from the ashtray area out so the bottom part is loose but the top part :-/ :-/give me a clue please....anyone

The bar can be seen in the photos, with the big red arrow on it.  Its tricky to find as you have to do it blind, but looking at the photo, in particular the black plastic behind the bar, should help you find it...

do you put your hand in,then turn it up and feel for it ,sort of behind the climate dials???alli could find was a load of wires??
