Crankshaft sensor part No.
« on: 01 March 2007, 14:37:58 »

Not the usual question, but last time i did a oil change, whilst doing the filter I made a note of the part number on my crank sensor, and got this
026 121 131
Now this doesn't tie up with the usual numbers for a late 97 2.5
Any ideas?

I have recently fitted 90492061 to my early 97 2.5. Mine is a 2.5v6 petrol and has the plug with the rounded ends, not the square one.

For a 2.5 it should be either 90492006 or 90492061 dependant on year......could it be you have a generic crank sensor? Are you sure its a vx one?
