electric sunroof

does the electric sunroof switch light up when switching on the lights on  if so how do you
get access to the bulb to replace it

Lights up with ignition, though 9 times out of 10 the bulb is blown...

Now I am thinking I must go out and check that bulb, I don't remember seeing it come on  :-/

how do you gain access to the bulb
ive pulled the dial off cant she the bulb

On some, you buy a new motor assembly!!

On yours, pull off knob, remove clear plastic insert, pull bulb down and replace...

 :(Yep mines blown as well,bloody things hard solderd onto the motor board,i cant be arsed to take the thing down to replace the bulb that will only blow again,
Too many other silly jobs to do to the car than that one.

According to Vx, thats a new motor, though obviously you can solder in a new one...
