I have more problems with my multirams   just done the school run and planted my foot down in a fit of rage due to some a**e cutting me up big time, anyway the car launched like a firework, then just after about 4k revs, its coughed and lost some (not much) power, it had been working fine since connecting everything correctly the other day, so I just checked the hoses, all ok still attached, checked the front vac tank, and the 'big' connector will let me suck, but not blow air into it (similar to a 1 way valve), the other small hole is letting air in and out (2 way valve), I never checked before so I dont know if this is normal, I tried to get the pollen filter air tank out, but is stuck in there with some kind of glue - it wont shift.
 I checked the vac tank off the car, with only a short piece of hose connected to each connector, without the little 1 way grommet thingy - so it wasnt that causing the big connector to have a 1 way ordeal  :-/
 Hope all that makes sense? Sorry to be a pain in the backside - John

The vac tank is working as it should....the inlet should have a one way valve so vac is stored in the tank.....

Arghhh im a dippy so and so sometimes, I posted the problem wrong   ...... the 'big' connector lets me blow air into it, and when I suck, it sucks creating a vacuum ok, but doesnt let any air in via the 'small' connector... its confusing me big time because I thought the front multiram fed from the vacuum from the smaller hose to 't' piece..... how does the front solenoid get its vaccum if it cant let the vacuum suck the air from the solenoid diaphram.
 Im confused myself over this, it has to be one of the most simplist of devices, but causing the biggest headach..... here is how a vaux tech told me to 'plumb' it in...... also the multiram diagram in the how to / maintanance guide seems to be how I have it connected :
 The rear solenoid connects to the front solenoid 'T' piece - the other end goes into the small connector on the front vac tank...
 The other vac line connects from the 'big' connector to the 'T' piece on the brake servo line 'T' which follows into the rear vac tank..
 The other shorther line goes into the SAI solenoid (i guess this is correct as its marked 'SAI' on the hose

It does sound correct....

The thing to do is place a finger on the output and suck on the input......stop sucking and leave the input open then remove your finger from the output and you should hear a shh....

Yeah that sounds about right to what I have, is the front solenoid vacuum sent from the rear one then on the switchover...... thats the only way I could understand it would work?
