simple question re Vacuum Tubing repair
« on: 05 July 2007, 16:33:46 »

I've got a damaged 4mm vacuum pipe (the one from the rear of the engine compartment that feeds the SAI valve at the front of the engine compartment). I've bought some replacement tubing. The question is, before I do something I shouldn't...

Q. Does the tubing simply pull out of the rubber connectors at each end? Or is there a glue involved and am i likley to damage the rubber connectors by pulling the tube out?

Thanks Pat  :-/

Mine just pull out of the rubber, no glue and the new pipe should just push back in  :)

Just pushes in the rubber. Just don't put too much strain on the other end of the rubber bit as you may break something....
