Is Traction Control the same as LSD?   I want to change the differential oil but don't know if I have a limited slip diff or not, my Omega has traction control is this the same as LSD? if not how would I now if my car has LSD or not

Just a thought bit you could put one wheel on the grass and the other on the road and try to pull away sharpish. If the wheel on the grass just spins I guess that would suggest that you don't have LSD. If you get good traction on the other side and she pulls away nicely then I guess that you do?

No they aren't the same thing.
LSD incorporates a clutch in the diff housing.
Traction control uses the anti-lock braking system to stop a skidding wheel
spinning.

Check the plate on your diff housing. On the bottom line of numbers, look at the second one.
If it is 'S' you have a LSD.
If it is '0' you haven't.

Only the chances of that plate being readable is virtually non existent.

Unless it is a ex-plod, little chance of being LSD, unless specified by customer.
