I have a '00 Omega 2.2dti which has just become a problem to start from cold. I've replaced glow plugs and glow plug relay and still no joy. It goes with a tow of about 20mtrs and will then run without problem - BUT!! if its left for 2 - 2.5 hours it has to be towed again. From elimination i think that the diesel's returning back to the tank, so is there a return valve in the system - or should i be looking somewhere else??

Change the injector leak off pipes....they get brittle with age and let air into the system when stood.

As said above. The 2.2 dti I am working on at the moment same problem so that will be changed eventually when the owner decides to come up with the parts for me.
