The sequence isn't too important, though I think its stated as NSR/OSF/OSR/OSF. Do not allow air in to ABS unit - that will be difficult to get out without Tech2.

Normally the drain point is a red knurled plastic piece...

Sequence is not so key on later cars....

The method I use is to use a syringe to remove all the old brake fluid from the reservoir and then fill it with fresh fluid.

Then using a pressure bleeder force the new fluid through to each wheel in turn....check the reservoir level regularly to make sure it still has some in it.

I also push the caliper piston in with the bleed nipple open when doing this to expel all the old fluid...

I've got the fluid - but all those words are just too much for me  :(

I changed the brake fluid used 1 1/4 litres of fluid was a very easy job with gunsonns ezebleed also ad to replace the osr caliper as it was seized well the rubber gasket ws perished and the pistons were rusty so i just changed it. after job finished i had a lovely firm pedal but the brakes didnt seem too good so i thought horror av i upset the abs took it down a lonely lane and jammed on a few times then performance came right up am totaly impressed now fluid changed mind its been in 5 yr . I asked local independent for quote said £100 aprox so am well pleased with job
 thanks for advice especially TB

Further to changing the brake fluid i have had the yielding pedal that someone here mentioned i asked a GM mechanic whom i know and said it was air in the abs unit he said it can get there if all the air is not completly bled when servicing the brakes as the air gradualy rises in the system till it gets to the abs unit and there it gets trapped causing the yielding brake pedal. He went on to say only way to get it out is to bleed with Tech2 acuating ABs or if you are lucky pressure bleeding. I just accepted how my brakes were as it as never bothered me as it stopped on a penny. But having just changed the fluid with a ezee bleed in no less than 30 mins after taking all wheels of and putting on axle stands the brakes are now better than i have ever known them and have no pedal yield whatsoever pedal is lovely and firm and higher up which took a bit of getting used to as the pedal went down a bit. I thoughly reccomend it for the time it took
sorry to go on i know the experienced guys know all about it but some of the guys that dont know too much its a godsend

Top job and very rewarding.

Remember that the brake fluid should be changed every 2 years as its hydroscopic (it absorbs water which has a low boiling point!).
