AR25 early, AR35 Late I believe.

ar25 on all 2.5 td but if you are looking to replace it fit an ar35 much better and lasts longer !!  :y

Agreed, when your AR25 on tractor fails (and it will), replace with an AR35.  Direct swap, just need to swap the bellhousing (and TC) over.  Worth fitting a bronze thrust washer as well.

Not a problem, just that I know of a 2.5 auto that has died, and a tractor in a scrappie.  Might need a bell housing swop but ought to work then?
