multirams fubard?
« on: 13 September 2007, 22:21:05 »

Having a mooch in the engine bay earlier and noticed that when I blipped the throttle neither of the multirams opened, I've done a quick check of the vacuum system and can't find any leaks. The climate seems to be working o.k. I took the vac pipe off the front multiram and revved the engine and couln't detect any vacuum pull in the pipe I also sucked the pipe and couldn't feel any change in pressure. I didn't try this with the rear multiram. Anyone got any ideas please? :(

Check all the vaccum pipes and make sure they are connected and not kinked/trapped, Might also be a knackered vac tank :-/

Hi Tony.  Take a  few mins and look at the following....

There is also another post/thread regarding testing the multirams but I cannot find it this evening.  A more thorough search may uncover it, though....
