Got mine working fine with a cheap ebay 10m serial extension to my desk top - it connects straight away with no hassle. not very portable though - need to buy a few more extension leads i thinks

I have tried my cheapo tech2 on every free piece of software that I could find and the only one that I had any success with was the Opelscan one that everyone seems to use....as TD says if anyone can point us all in the direction of any more that are know to work........ :y

No others work, as the interface is made to work with that software, and that software drives a multiplexor in a different way to any other normal software.
