Bulb check module
« on: 01 October 2007, 12:28:59 »

Can anyone tell me the part number for the Bulb Check Module for a 2003 3.2 Omega estate?

I'd like to fit one into my car (to stop the CID warning annoying me), but I'm not sure which one I need.

I called the chaps at Las Jacarandas, and he has two there. Part No's 09135156 and 90460934.

Are either of these any good?

Thanks.

No, it's not faulty - my car was never fitted with one. Since I retrofitted the Satnav, every time I start the car (and every half hour or so) the CID tries to talk to the Bulb Module. Not getting a response, it assumes the worst and tells me I have blown headlights/stop lamps/etc. It's only an annoyance, but I'd like to sort it.

I have what I think is the connector in a spare loom, and I can wire it in, but before I do, I need to get the correct module.

Failing that, I'm just as happy to bypass the warning, but not sure how to. I know which two wires from the CID get signaled by the Bulb Module, but not sure what to do with them.

(The All Knowing One, in a very old post, indicated that he did. I PM'd him but never got a response)
