Power steering fluid

Need to change my power steering fluid at home as it looks a bit old. Whats the best way to go about it? :-/

Its a 2.2 auto.

Why does it look odd ?

Its ment to look like cherryadie kind of colour. you need to get a syringe a suck some out to check its colour against a window or light

Power steering fluid lasts normally for the life of the car the only time it really degrades is if you have your steering on full lock for long periods of time and lots of them, Check the colour of it to see if it turned dark or black

If you change it, keep in mind it should be ATF Dexron II, and not Dexron III....

Why is this, out of interest?
It was originally DIII (for convenience to match the gearbox), but then Vx changed to a different DIII which caused issues with the PAS, so reverted to DII for PAS...
