How can I test my alarm?
« on: 18 November 2007, 18:52:26 »

Hi,

I have a 01 Omega Elite, 2.2DTI.  I am presuming that there is a factory fitted alarm in this car as standard. Is there a way I can test if my alarm works?  What would be the best way to activate it to find this out?

Thanks,
Richard

Drop window of one door, shut all the doors, lock with the fob. Then unlock that one door, or maybe just wave your arm around inside. :y

Or just unlock with key (key doesn't disable alarm).  You need to switch ign on to silence alarm though.
