OK.  I do know a nice chap who works for autoglass.  I'm sure he might be bribed with some Stella.

Remove

Note:   Cover windscreen frame with masking tape to prevent paint damage.

Remove tailgate screen with Wire Cutter MKM-589-B:

In the tailgate screen wiper motor area (1), push wire cutter through adhesive bead from the inside outwards with pliers. Remove tailgate screen around entire perimeter, wire cutter length approx. 400 mm.

Cut out glass from tailgate screen with Cutter MKM-846-1E or MKM-846-1P:

Insert Cutting Knife MKM-846-28 from outside in area of tailgate screen wiper motor (1) and cut out glass from tailgate screen in a circular motion.

Remove tailgate screen using Screen Suction Lifter MKM-641 and lay aside on holding device.

Install

Smooth down adhesive bead on tailgate to a thickness of 1 mm using Scraper MKM-846-70.

For re-used tailgate screens: Reduce adhesive bead to a thickness of 1 mm with Scraper MKM-846-70, attach new mounting strips (1) and screen trim strip.

For new tailgate screens: Clean adhesive area, attach new mounting strips (1), screen trim strip, apply "black" glass primer and allow to dry for 15 minutes.

Apply glass adhesive, use pre-cut applicator nozzle. Install tailgate screen with Screen Suction Lifter MKM-641, only tension tailgate screen slightly with Tensioning Belt MKM-591.

Caution

Lay-over times for freshly cemented glass panes in connection with glass adhesives and airbag equipment – see "Vehicle Lay-Over Times". Observe adhesive manufacturer's processing instructions and those on packaging.

Install

Wiring harness plug for heated rear screen, tailgate screen wiper motor, tailgate inner panelling, rear wiper arm.

Looks like a bit of a nightmare to me. Might be better to get an autoglass company to remove and refit for you??  They should be able to do it without breaking the glass as it's toughened not laminated like the windscreen.  :y
