And also check that your pollen filter is good and not dirty/damp due to blocked scuttle drain hole.
Cheers Pete

I checked that last week - all clear.
I've just had a quick play with the recirc and does do something when pressed, there's a slight change of air flow in the foot wells. Perhaps I should just use it a bit more. It's amazing how fast & heavy it feels when your daily driver is a low-blow turbo diesel Astra! ;D  ;D

It took miles & miles before the screen on my car started to dry out. It doesn't get used much, & when I got in today the inside of the screen was soaking wet!  :( I tried it ECO off & on, on AUTO, recirc but it didn't make much difference until I turned the ECO off & opened the window - like in the old days! :y Astra shed that's used every day & has non working A/C is fine.  :-?

I get this problem on my BMW, as it can go several weeks without being used and in this weather sometimes the windscreen has huge droplets of condensation on it. I hate wiping it as it leaves smears that show every time it steams up again, so I just have to wait an age for the heater to slowly evaporate a lot of water. PITA, but there's no solution I'm aware of, AC or not.

Mine even had a few frozen droplets on it this morning! :o I don't really like to wipe the screen either when it's as wet as it was this morning but I had a daughter to collect & didn't have time to let it dry by itself.
The real p***er was later as I was joining the M6, the washer nozzles must be full of sh1te cos as I tried to washer the screen I got no water but the wipers went thro' their cycle & smeared the screen to the extent that I could see next to f*** all. Just what I wanted! NOT! :o

If you have excessive condensation, it may be worth checking that your scuttle drain isn't blocked by dirt, leaves, small children etc.

It would be worth doing a climate control system reset and see if that cures the problem.

You will notice that I have cunningly omitted to tell you how to do this and that's because I can't remember what buttons to press. I'm sure that someone will be along soon with the right info.  :y

A quick Google brings up a method for re-setting the servos.
Hold Auto and Off together for 5 secs. With ignition on...

That's the ones, I couldn't remeber which, but other combinations do nothing so I normally go by trial and error.  :y
