When you say EGR pipe, I thought we were talking passenger side?

EGR should only be on drivers side - do you mean the Sec air injection pipes? These are held to the manifolds with 2 little torx bolts...

Yeah sorry that one mate, like a long pipe held in with 2 bolts and has 2 pipes going into one pipe, for some reason mines kinked in half and my altinaton chopped through my vac hose so go a few little issues to sort out but shud be back on the road before x mas.... ;) ;) :o :o

Gotcha...

If the Sec air injection discussed above causes problems, block it off and unplug the pump :y

need more info on blocking it off

The pump is in the front of the car, passenger side, underneith, in front of the wheelarch area. Just unplug it.

Then, get two dead AA batteries, and hammer them into the pipes that go to the manifold.

Thats the air suspension pump for the rear shocks under the front left bumper....

That pipe bends around the front of the engine and joins into summit right by the cam belt cover at the front, and i don't think u can use battery's in the exhaust manifold gets a bit hot and don't want a battery exploding...  ::) ::) ::) :-? :-?

You're not using them in the manifold, you're using them in the SAI pipes at the front of the engine, they don't get hot. At the end of the day, a rubber pipe attaches to them, so if they were subject to heat, they too would melt...

And as for the pump, the one you describe can't be the right one. If I'm wrong on location someone else may confirm..

Mark DTM I think is the man to ask about the battery theory...

Yeah those pipes that join with a rubber hose go into some kinda valve in front of the engine by the cam belt, that one has a plug on it and kinda silver in colour...
