Are the throttle flaps closing fully is there any coke in the barrels?

thanks for the interest Dave ..

I cleaned the throttle flaps many times.and there was very little dirt..May be they have little gap between surfaces .But I cant see this directly..

ps : Also checked the vacuum pipes and vacuum tank under the air RAMS

It's very frustrating isn't it! Especially when you add up what you have spent on it to no avail...  Just another point, is the cam timing bang on, maybe worth a check the engine could be unbalanced if the valve are opening a little early or late, if you get my drift..

yep.this is the one also I'm suspicious about..but the mechanics (more than one) say if timing is not OK the car loose power..How I know it ..this is my first

omega..And seems fast to me..(The duck and its baby story)  :-/

as a possibility can it be MAF as it needs getting hotter on the surface.and its 10 years old  :'(

Today changed MAF.. finally ..

80 kms in city traffic.Many start stops cold and  hot engine  idles..

Smooth idle.No intermittent idle problems or no shakes..seems consumption lowered ..

Within few days the result will be more obvious..Will report here..
