Headlight adjusters
« on: 01 January 2008, 13:41:10 »

Need to stop blinding pilots of low flying aircraft by lowering the beam, played with the adjusters on top of the headlights but nothing happened. Did the wall bit as mentioned by Mark but no joy
anyone help please

You checked the beam adjusting rods on the FNS and RNS suspension arms?

And still true HID's?  Always thought that if proper Xenons then the adjuster arms were mandatory.....

You got a level adjuster knob to the left of the headlight on/off switch?

They are proper Omega HID's & only has range level wheel next to dimmer wheel on the dash under the headlight switch

If you do not have the level sensors on the nearside suspension arms but do have a range adjuster wheel next to the headlamp switch then I would suggest that they are plain projector lamps (perhaps fitted with aftermarket 'xenon' uprated lamps) but are not true HID's.

Adjustment is as per what you are doing already....
