Do you know how to drill the hole in the head?
Mine (2.0 but I think the manifod is the same) had the stud snapped when previous owner went to the garage to fix the manifold.
So it was drilled before but there was no thread inside!! I bought 3 thread recovery set (M10) and made a thread.
Here's some more ideas if you have a welder.

Nut has to be screwed at the other end of screw. Then screw it to the head and when it's tight, start fastenings the nut. It minght not look professional but it was Sunday (I took them out on Saturday and found that there is no thread (just for two twists) on Sunday) so I had to use it. I could cut the head off but why? It's much easier to screw it and to tighten it.
Hope it's clear now. If not (my English is not as good as yours [smiley=embarassed.gif] ) then I will do my best to help you.
I have more photos when I was changing the exhaust manifold so if you need anything, I will attach it here.
