EML light ?????

Hi, ALL.......Replaced the water pump and cleared out the heater matrix. put all back together and started it up and the eml is on constantly......anyone got any dead why ???????....TIA  :y

Read the fault codes to get a definative answer.

And make sure everything on the inlet trumpet is plugged back in and that the multiram and air temp sensor connectors have not been muddled up.

Also make sure the EGR is plugged back in and the 1-3-5 bank knock sensor.

Cheers mark, one thg i did notice was that the pipe leading from the EGR to the exhaust manifold was a little loose and one of the screw holding the egr to the plenum does tighten up properly, would this causny probs ?

The corrugated pipe being loose can cause a ticking noise.

Should be ok on the other joint as its one of 3 bolts.

Found out why the eml light was on.....one of he multi ram wires had popped off, there is a strange rev on it though...when starts to get warm it starts revving by itsself upto about 1900rpm then back to 900 checked all wires anpipes & everything seems ok ?

Its a lot cleaner than it was before took it off, cleaned it out with plenty  carb cleaner then put some 3 in 1 oil in to lube it but been revvin by itself ever since
