Satnav not switching on
« on: 01 February 2008, 11:23:04 »

Why is my Satnav not working? It comes off Standby, but all options are greyed out other than Standby again.

So, it will switch on, but won't do anything. This problem is random too. It was working fine until I stopped for a break on the motorway, then it wouldn't work when I switched it on again...

At the moment it is working.

Any suggestions?

Not sure.  CD hasn't ejected, or unreadable is it?

When mine decides it'll play up, it just locks up completely. It won't do anything, spit the disc out, switch off or anything. it'll do it with the original OE disc and copy discs ...... apparently! :-X  ;)

you obviously mean backup copies so your original is kept safe indoors of course.

I'm the same...the disk won't come out even though the power light is on...BTW my disk is a genuine one...I haven't tried a back-up.
