Hi & thanks for looking,just sold a car on ebay won by a spanish bidder,seems legit as he has bought cars over here before,infact in Notts too! Not sure having never sold a car on ebay before never mind shipping one how to go about it.He has mailed me but used a dictionary for translation asking me to direct him,pressume that means help...lol...any advise/help appeciated....Wayne

in the past i have sold cars to S. Ireland, different country but the principle is no different i would presume.

Normally i let the buyer sort out the transport, purely because if it goes pear shaped you dont get to carry the can on that.

I normally produce a reciept stating how much i have sold the car for and to whom (for local tax purposes) and keep a copy for myself.
The logbook i fill in the notification of perminent export and get a V756 notification of export and send to DVLA.

Now unless i have been doing something wrong that has been it, i have never had any comebackfrom the 2 that i have sold, however i would also have a look on the DVLA website and possibly speak to your local licensing centre
