central locking

pasengers door suddenly refused to lock and unlock works manualy
but not from key fob unpluged and repluged the connection  at side of door also the curb light doesnt work bad earth maybe? Door Switch ok as it works interia light Any Idears

Ok, the central door locking setup does not use any remote 0V connections at all anywhere other than teh main controller and given that the other locks are working then its safe to assume this is ok. In addition, the puddle lights also dont use a 0V in the door as its the switch that provides this.....

The common cause is a failing lock motor, these tend to show up more in the cold weather.

It is worth also checking the main loom from body to door to make sure it is fully inserted and locked and for breaks in the wires

I had this and it turned out to be a loose conection onto the locking motor itself.
