Advice needed
« on: 23 March 2008, 15:33:44 »

Last week my mom's 2003 2.2cd auto started as normal and she moved it a few yards to load some gear into it. On restarting it had no power and would barely move. E/M light was on. It was taken to our local garage by green flag. When the mechanic started it again all appeared normal and after putting it on diagnostic machine she got printout saying the following;

P1555 Throttle valve control motor position
          Nominal -vs.actual comparison
P1525 Throttle valve control motor
          Emergency mode function
P1550 Throttle valve control motor
          System or component in emerg. mode
P1526 Throttle valve control motor
          Malfunction
P0130 02 sensor (bank 1, sensor 1)

P0170 Fuel correction (bank 1)
          Malfunction
No. of errors 6

The car has driven perfectly since, E/M light has come on once but car drove as normal. No work has been carried out yet.
Any advice gratefully received on what to do next. :y

Check wiring/connector to throttle, as it sounds to be related to that area. Hope its not the throttle, as they are quite dear :(
