Possible auto box fault
« on: 24 March 2008, 17:50:30 »

Hi,My Dad has an Omega 2.5 V6 1997,he went to Nottingham this afternoon and car drove fine. When he came to leave the carpark it struggled to pull off and his words were "like when a clutch slips". When placed into 1 and 2 car drove ok,just not in 3 or drive. He got the car home and has since been out in it again and everything is back to how it should be,any ideas anyone, loose connection, possible ecu problem or gear box ready for a service?...any help/advice appreciated...Wayne

Mrs's is having a similar problem >:(

It sounds like it could have gone into Limp mode, ours did the other night and wouldn't rev over 3000 rpm. Did you get "Automatic Gearbox" on the MID?
