my alarm

HI EVERYONE,I HAVE A VAUXHALL OMEGA,2LT  CD,W REG,JUST HAD THE ROCKET COVER GASKET DONE.AND NOW MY ALARM GOES OFF EVERY NIGHT AROUND 1.30AM?THIS HAS HAPPEND EVEYNIGHT,NEIGBOURS AINT HAPPY,IVE READ A FEW COMMENTS ABOUT THE SENSORS.WHERE ARE THEY AND WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE,WOULD THIS SOLVE THE PROBLEM,THANKS GARY

Disconnect the bonnet switch ;)
You will probably find that the bracket has been bent slightly whilst the work was being done. Bend it back or disconnect it, a common problem.

As you stand in front of the car with the bonnett open, it is on the right handside towards the rear of the engine bay, you can't miss it ;)

OK THANKS I WILL HAVE A LOOK,HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE THAT,AND HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP AND NOT UPSETTING THE NEIGHBOURS

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE,ITS SLIGHTLY WOBERLY,IVE STRAIGHTEND IT,IF IT HAPPENDS TONIGHT IF I DISCONECT WILL IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM,THANKS GARY

Alarm just went of again,so it must be the sensor switch.if i disconnect it that will solve it.what does that switch do then

Nothing, the alarm will no longer monitor the bonnet.
