Don't like either football or Rugby TBH but watch the Football World Cup Games so I shall be Cheering good old ENGLAND on :y

Just out of curiousity who will you Scots and Welsh Lads amongst us be cheering for????[/quote]

Most of them are cheering on the last surviving British team.

The hate which surrounds some sports is not there so much with Rugby.

England of course  ;) im very very british

You need to remember that a large number of rally fans favourite ever driver was Scottish - when he raced we all cheered him on.

Some people forget that this is our island, it belongs to the English the Scots and the Welsh all together, we have a common language, currency, TV, most laws.

To be honest I like it when the best team wins but I like the best team to be a British team, failing that Ireland, afterwards a Commonwealth or European team.

But then Britain is still an international player, especially in high tech, aerospace, and motor racing.

An example is Concorde something both the UK and France could be proud of.
