fault codes?

hi there does anyone have a list of fault codes and what they mean ? i have a 98 2.0 16v and its driving me nuts ,the thing runs like a bag of shite revs fluctuate after a run nomatter how short or it cuts out  but yet it starts fine  anyone else had similar?

Post your results from the paperclip test and we'll go from there.  Could be a number of things really.

hi there i did the paper clip test and im not sure if i read the code right or not despite doing the test 4 times to make sure , i got the code as 10335 ,could this be a p0335 which would be incorrect rpm signal if this is the case what does "incorect rpm signal" mean and what can be done   :-?  thanx for looking and your help so far  :y
