oval or square for dis pack

i have just taken out connection for my dispack , the dealer i am gettin the new one from needs to know if it is square or oval its sort of ovally , is the square connector completely square? cheers for the help . ed  :)

The square one has sharp corners the oval one has rounded corners.

thanx very much for the response mate , not had a great deal of experience with the miggies, so you reckon its prob oval then , does the square ones have a 90 o angle on them, like a proper square , i know it sounds a silly question but dont want to order the wrong part

If at all possible take it in with you...   beware, I gave them my chassis number for a CPS sensor... they gave me the wrong one!  It seems that my 1999 Elite was built on a changeover..

As said previouly in this post, oval has rounded edges and square are more angular..

cheers dave much appreciated, like you , i definately dont want get wrong part , appartantley its an pain in the arris job anyway . but with wrong bit mechanic wont be happy

If you are removing DIS pack anyway provide them with the bosch number moulded into the pack. I ordered mine of ebay that way. Best way & akes guess work out of it too if they have ref number

I see vauxhall parts warehouse are doing square coil packs for 40 quid delivered
