Lumpy tickover
« on: 15 May 2008, 15:17:50 »

Hi all
My 2.0L omega is running a little lumpy on tickover it's not really that bad on petrol but on switching to LPG it becomes quiet pronounced.
I've just changed throttle body and idle air control valve and checked all vac lines.
Anyone give me something else to try.
I do have a blow on the exhaust manifold could it be that.

                          Cheers Julian.

I'd say it's the blow from the exhaust manifold.  Your LPG system really needs the o2 sensor to be giving out the correct readings in order for it to control the mixture.

could be running a little too lean at low revs

does the EML occasionally come on when you're doing a steady 30-35 mph and the revs drop to less than 1500?
